Who we are
We are an independent junior research group funded by the Emmy Noether program of the German Research Foundation (DFG). We are located at the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Our research focuses on the structure, dynamics, and function of biological macromolecules. We develop and apply computational methods to study biomolecules at the atomistic and coarse-grained level, with a particular focus on membrane proteins and processes related to biological membranes.
